There would be no food. We would all die.
what would happen to plants nutrition if plants did not have roots
Vascular plants, or true plants, are plants with roots.
Trees and Plants would be under the Kingdom Plantae.
After a fire that produces extensive damage the first plants you would expect to see growing would be small plants. These plants being grass.
If plants and animals lived forever, the nitrates in the Earth's soil would continuously cycle through the ecosystem. Plants would take up nitrates for growth, animals would consume plants, and when plants and animals die, their organic matter would decompose and release nitrates back into the soil for future use by plants.
There are plenty of other insects that pollinate plants apart from bees so the plants would survive.
If there were no plants, the animal population would be drastically changed. The herbivores would die and soon after so would carnivores. Only the decmoposers would be left. That's how important plants are to an environment.
plants are important because if there were no plants earth would not be alive and not a even one creature because there would be no oxygen at all!!!!!
everything would die. the things that eat the plants would die. the things that eat things that eat the plants would die. the things that eat the things that eat the things that eat the plants would die. Also, plants would not perform photosynthesis, therefore, Earth would run out of oxygen and become filled with carbon dioxide.
well, the obvious answer would be that more plants would be able to survive but the disadvantage would be that there would nothing except wind that would spread the pollens of the plants and plus there would be no 'natural' fertilizers (such as cow dung) that would help the plants grow.
If plants did not disperse, they would all be stuck in a single location. They would then compete for soil and light and would eventually die out.
You get pea plants.
