its the heater core. but its not clogged. its cracked
The heater core is on the passanger side, located behind the bower motor housing on the firewall. If the car doesn't have AC it is not a difficult project. Remove the heater hoses from the firewall and then remove the screws that attach the cover to the firewall. The heater core rests inside.
it should be close to the fan in the front of the evap case. passanger side firewall engine compartment
Look for two brass hose fittings within8 inches of each other on the firewall passanger side.
It is a heater hose.
The nipple next to the heater core hoses is the drain tube for the a/c . The antifreeze is coming from the heater core , that is leaking .
Blocked Radator.... or a cloged hose. if you have the 3.0 V6 vulcan there are metal hoses on the firewall that run into the dash. if they look to have rust or corosion on them they could be leaking or cloged also the heater core could be blocked up. I had a 2000 Taurus that the metal coolent hoses running into the the heater core rusted cloged then burst open while i was passing a truck on the expressway if your having heating problems i recomend that you take a look at the coolant hoses going to and from the heater core (the hoses run into the firewall at the back of the motor) Then if there is no sign of bad ju-ju you might want to try replacing your thermostat a stuck thermostat can cause cold air but not over heating... It sounds like you may have a few problems but check the heater core and tubes first
If it's leaking from INSIDE the firewall (away from the engine compartment) you probably have a leaking heater control valve or damaged heater core.
the only other way is that it is cloged
you likely have a leaking heater core. Is this on the inside of the vehicle? if so then it defintately is a leaking heater core
It is actually under the hood on the passanger side of the firewall. The below answer is incorrectIs there a wiring diagram???? Better location since there appears to be other things on the firewall on passengers side. Is there a picture.
Sounds like your heater coil is leaking, or the drains in the cowl air pickup are clogged.
if it has one it is in heater hose at firewall if it has one it is in heater hose at firewall
