You've both been friends for a year, but it still can lead to love interests. It's best to just sit down and talk openly. If you feel he loves you then express your feelings to him. Just be honest. My 2nd husband and I were certainly physically attracted to each other, but we were more friends at first and then it became love. Best kind!
