If you are 27 years old and weigh 155 pounds and are 5'2 can you lose 20 pounds by swimming three times a week for 40 minutes and walking 2 or 3 miles a day?

It depends on your calorie intake. If you do those exercises and cut down on calorie intake, and cut out sugary and fried foods then you should be able to not only lose quite a bit of weight but also get your heart and body into better shape and health.
