A person can do whatever they would like. However, Christmas concerns the Christian claim that Jesus was the Savior of Humanity and that he is God Incarnate. These beliefs are directly contradictory to the Torah and fundamental Jewish precepts. The creation of a decorated tree is also in direct contravention of the warnings of Prophet Jeremiah who said that only pagans make "trees of tinsel".

The bottom line, though, is that you have to make the decision for yourself of what traditions, beliefs, and worldviews matter to you.

There's no such concept in Judaism as "a bit Jewish." Either you're fully Jewish or fully non-Jewish. In Judaism, one is Jewish if he/she was born to a Jewish mother, or had a proper conversion.

Celebrating Christmas is not done in Judaism, even by non-religious Jews.
