No one can be legally forced to pay money that they don't have, and the custom of debtors prisons was abolished a long time ago. If you do have an income, it is possible that some of that income will be garnished in order to eventually pay the costs that you have been ordered to pay.
Umm-m-m-m..... because the court ordered it??
Run, don't walk, to the court that issued the order for support and ask for a modification.
u will get arestted
You will be called back to court and punished.
You should go back to the court and request a hearing to show that you cannot pay as ordered, by making a motion to amend the prior order. If you do not pay and do not get excused, you can be held in contempt, and fined additional costs, be jailed, or have other sanctions, depending on the type of debt.
You could be found in contempt.
Unless their attendance at the mediation was court ordered, nothing.
No. A person can only be incarcerated for an act. Not paying court ordered fines and court costs is an example of something that could get a person jailed.
Youll have to bring the crazy old dude to court and get him to pay.
Contempt of Court, and/or whatever matter before the court that initiated the order being reconsidered.
Not being ordered to pay court costs by waiting for them to do it. see links below
If spouse is ordered to pay support by a court, until another court changes that, you cannot "protect" the spouse.
