Supervisors on WikiAnswers are just regular users who have been very active on the WikiAnswers community. You can become a supervisor just by doing your best to help out on WikiAnswers in any way you can. If an existing supervisor notices how good a job you are doing, he may recommend to a WikiAnswers administrator that you be made a supervisor.
WikiAnswers is not against tobacco. Its contributors may be. If you think an answer is not answering a question about tobacco or is hateful towards tobacco users, please report it to a Supervisor.

That would depend on the question, but I think WikiAnswers would be a good place to start. If we can not answer the question at the very least we could direct you towards someone or a web site that could answer the question.
Making contributions of all kinds will improve your contributor status. Answering (and asking) questions, recategorizing, and splitting off alternates all count towards increasing your contributor level.

It usually means the answer is biased towards one particular opinion. For a simple example - a question like "Which is the best phone" might get the answer "The I-phone" - A users opinion of a particular phone will be biased towards the type of phone they are familiar with - rather than based on physical facts.

Wikianswers is not one unified body. However it does seem as though the members are more tolerant and accepting than other groups. This, I have absolutely no issue with.
