Satellite is better. comparable in price, never goes out & has more channels total available & they give you the box free in many case.
More than what?
The cable box itself would not be an issue. Cable boxes will not work on their own, there must be a live feed of cable for the box to have channels to choose from. If someone is not paying for that cable to be available at that residence but for whatever reason there is a live feed coming through, it would be seen as illegal.
etheir steal it of buy it
Because the people who buy the channels want the money. So they have more and more channels. I heard that a guy was going to buy TEN. He was going to delete ONE HD and replace it with a news channel.
Most of the time cable packages are cheaper than the separate channel cost. That means if you want to take some channels separately that will be more costly than the cable packages.
No they have to offer the local channels along with their basic cable package. You otherwise don't need cable and buy an anteena instead for the local channels.
The probably cheapest hd cable box costs about 35 $. It is sold by Samsung. Its full name is: "Samsung Full Hd cable box 244002". You can buy it in every Samsung hd cable box store.
To get a wireless cable box I suggest you try AT&T, I use their service and I am more than pleased with them. They provide great internet and phone service as well as cable.
You will have to RENT one from COX.
No, there is not a way. You can watch free TV shows and sometimes free movies on different websites. If you pay a one time fee to buy a device like a Roku Box then you can get free channels to watch.
It depends on your carrier. But for the most part NO.
go to canada, buy a canadian cable box, and you get ytv.
