if you die with a skull over your head (if you have attacked a player in the wilderness unprovoked in the last 30 minutes) then you drop all of your items, unless you have the "protect one item" prayer. This protects the item with the most "high level alchemy" value, as is with most other situations. If you are not 'skulled' you keep your 3 most "high level alchemy" valued items (plus the extra if using the protect item prayer).

However there are some "safe" minigames that let you keep all of your items upon death such as Castle Wars and Fist of Guthix. Hope this helps/helped!

Go bk to the exact location you died in a certain amount of time, the minimum time you will get if you have a gravestone is around 3 - 5 minutes, if you don't have one...your screwed basically.

No, you cannot lose your stuff if you die in fist of guthix. If you dont belive me why isn't theres bones' in fist of guthix and you will allways die even if your a level 50 and you had to vs a level 90, you will kill the level 90 but level 90 would win.

If you die, you will lose all but 3 of your most valuable items. ( let me rephrase that you keep your most expensive stuff.) If you have lvl 25 prayer you can keep four things. If you can make it back to your grave, you can reclaim all your items.

The "most expensive items" are based on alchemy value, not on the current market value. Note that you don't lose things in your bank. You should not go to battle, or to dangerous places such as PvP worlds or the Wilderness, with lots of valuable stuff, and leave it in your bank instead.

well, you die and respawn at your designed spawn point. for f2p, its lumbridge courtyard and for p2p, it's your choice of falador or lummy. but in pvp worlds e.g. 1-item bounty world you spawn at edgeville.
