If by "pill" you mean hormonal Birth Control pill, then bare in mind that on the pill you do not menstruate at all - the women get during the placebo week of their pills is withdrawal bleed caused by the drop in hormones when going from active to inactive pills, this mimics menstruation but is in no way the same thing.
If you forget to take a pill it is like going onto your inactive pills, the drop in hormones provided by the active pills can cause the uterus lining to shed - thus if you miss a pill you may experience a withdrawal bleed, like a period.
Yes you should still have a period. The sugar pills are there mostly so that you can stick to the same schedule every day. Also, if you don't start your hormone pills back after so many days (as many days as there are sugar pills) you have a higher chance of releasing an egg and then becoming pregnant next month. If you don't want to take the sugar pills, just make sure that you aren't late starting your next pack of pills! It also doesn't mater if you are still bleeding and it is time to start that next pack, do it anyway. And your period may not always start on the day that you are supposed to take the sugar pills, it can start anywhere within that week, so don't freak out too much if you are a day or so late.
Yes, the white pills are just like a placebo pill (sugar pill). They don't contain any of the medicine. You need to take them so you can keep track of when to start your next new pack.
Defintitly you could be pregnat, if you could you should have taken the moring after pill. and why are you taking the pill anyway if you forget to take it?
If you forget to take your birth control pill, don't take two to make up for the one you forgot! Start fresh the next day. Try to take them at the same time everyday also. Your less likely to spot bleed or start spotting when you forget your pill.
If you forgot to take your normal birth control pill then this is a good time to take the MAP if you had unprotected sex.
Forget about it. Continue taking your pills as normal (don't take the missed pill). If you are actually worried about pregnancy, don't be too concerned. Your period will probably take care of things naturally.
A sugar pill is what women take to start their period. It allows the period to start.
Yes. Even missing one day of the pill will reduce the effectiveness of the pill. If you missed a week, the effectiveness of the pill increases a lot. I would recommend using a condom or other form of non-hormonal birth control for the next month (as it will take a month for the pill to be at 99.99% effectiveness again.
Your period should not be delayed from missing a single pill.
assuming you are referring to the inert pills in a pack of 28 day birth control pills, you take the pill to keep you used to taking the pill so you wont forget when its time to take the pill pill again
No. You get a period with/without the pill. All the pill does is protect you from getting pregnant.
If you are taking antibiotics, and you got your period while being on the pill, you want to continue to take your pill. Keep in mind that being on antibiotics can lower the affect of the birth control pill.
The pill i take for period pain apon completion or discontuning can stall the process of periods for up too 2 weeks. but that's just for the pill i take for period pain and may vary for others.
the pill can make your periods lighter, shorter and can reduce/get rid of period pains. there are a few side effects, slight weight gain, nausea and tender breasts. you take the pill for 21 days, and on the 7days you do not take it you will have your period, and when your are done you continue taking the pill, and the cycle continues.
