I have recently stopped wearing earrings regularly and when people squint they can only just see the holes, but my earrings fit anyway.

The piercing artist I went to gave me a five minute consultation to ensure it was a possibility to have it pierced like I wanted to (I wanted both the top and the bottom pierced). I recommend you visit your local piercing shop and ask them to take a look. :)
