This sounds like a very inefficient arrangement, to give someone a ring to be used to get a different ring. You are free to re-use the ring if you so desire, it's your ring. Give your boyfriend the ring and he can give it back to you as a wedding ring, if that is what you want to do.
A Haribo gummy ring. Had you said 4 month (a quarter of a year! Woah there splash out a little) then I would have recommended the whole (mini) pack of Haribo. But as it is only 3 months, just the ring will suffice.

* Take her to where you first met, or your first date, then pop the question while on the date. * Give her roses with a ring around one of the stems and pop the question. * If she has a pet, tie the ring to the collar then call the pet in the room. That's the best I can think of, Good luck :)
A ring from a prior marriage is usually not a good idea to give to someone new. It does depend on the people involved though overall. If the new person does not seem OK with it, you really shouldn't do it, and you should absolutely tell them.
Ask for help: her mother, or her best friend (if you feel you can trust them, of course) - someone who might have access to an existing ring and hand it to you for a day. Good luck!!!! ;)
