If you had Halo 3 and you download a map variant from bungie for a map you didn't have such as Sandbox or Longshore would it still work Or is there anything you can do to make it work?

no u will have to redownload it u cant have a variant when u don't have the map the variant is just the map changed but u need the map in order to have a changed one
