you can still bleed for quite awhile after a miscarriage, i bled for nearly 3 weeks when i lost mine and it is perfectly normal. Your body will gradually adjust itself but if you have any concerns then speak to your gp or nurse

Any bleeding during pregnancy needs to be evaluated by a doctor. Heavy bleeding is a sign of miscarriage, but you have to see a doctor to be sure and to be checked for your health, as well.

No, tampons should not be used a few days after a miscarriage and there's no reason to use tampons as you will not be menstruating at that time. During miscarriage tissue from the pregnancy needs to be expelled, the cervix is more open so you're at higher risk of infection and TSS - thus using tampons would be very dangerous. If you still have bleeding then use pads or period underwear.
