If you happen to eat a snake that is poisonous would the venom affect you?

Snake venom is not a poison. The only way the venom can kill is if it is injected or can some way get into the blood of body tissues. If it is eaten, it is simply digested as any food item would be.

∙ 12y agoYou ALWAYS cut the head off and that is where the venom is. So if you cut the head off and cook the rest "No you will not get poisoned!"
