Agree - lots of work for only 0.3L of displacement. Try these: iridium plgs from ngk (both help my mpg), get a better air intake, check and post to the npora boards for performance mods. What is your goal??

I disagree, unless you have no previous engine experience. The 3.3 is near the exact same block and you can swap everything from the 3.0 onto the 3.3 with minimal problems or modifications. It's been done by more than a few people. Search NPORA for more info. http://npora.ipbhost.com
you certainly can but the only engine that is made disesl that would fit that truck would be an Isuzu and you would have to modify some stuff on it
Anything is possible. It may however not be very probable without many skills and much cash. Chris
The rims match an 89 Nissan Pathfinder for sure.
Your best bet would be a wrecking yard...the dealer would be a little pricey I imagine.
page 4-21 in a haynes manual from autozone
it is 12 atdc for the 88, I assume they are the same
I have owned several Nissan trucks since 1989 and the ECM has always been under the passenger's seat. This keeps the unit out of the extreme heat/cold and dampness under normal driving conditions. I just reprogramend my keyless entry on my 1995 pathfinder, the module was located under the driveride seat
You can use parts off a 1987-1995 Nissan pathfinder. 2 or 4 door will work just fine. Rule of thumb, a 2 door pathfinder is based on a regular cab pickup chassis, a 4 door pathfinder is based on a king cab chassis.
This info. is good for 1989-1995 pathfinder. It holds 3.8 Liters of oil and 6 Liters of Transmission fluid. If you need more details check out: http://www.nissanextendedwarranty.com/owners-manual/nissan_owner_manuals.HTML It has lots of Nissan owners manuals.
