If you have a usb WIFI adapter that says it is compatible with windows 98 se and you have windows 98 upgraded to windows xp will it still work?

It should do but you should first find out if there are drivers available on the internet to install for your WiFi adapter to work on XP. If there are then shouldn't be a problem at all. Just search for the name or make of your WiFi adapter on Google plus 'XP drivers' and I'm sure you'll be able to get them from somewhere.
