It's technically possible for someone to exhibit an allergic response (hives, difficulty breathing) to codeine, but have no problem taking oxycodone. That said, the odds are probably against it, and as such should only be attempted at the discretion of a trained medical professional (with OTC antihistamines on-hand, just in case). Molecularly speaking, codeine and oxycodone are very similar. Codeine lacks the hydroxy group at the 14- position, and has a 7-8 double bond. Also, the 6- position of codeine contains an alcohol group instead of a carbonyl.

I am allergic to codeine if by mouth I’m doubled in half for 3-1/2 hours enough to go to ER By injection in hospital I have projectile vomiting no anaphylactic reaction though But hydrocodone is a synthetic and oxycodone has no problem I am able to take either without reactions at all! They are NOT same thing possibly due to way they are synthesized!!

No, oxycodone does not have codeine in it. This drug is in Percocet (and others), which is a bit stronger than codeine. I don't know what prescription you (may) have, but often, the Percocet will also have aspirin or acetominophen (Tylenol) in it as well. This is called a "compound" drug because it has two different medications in it.
