Artichoke not only doesn't contain substantial amounts of liver toxins, a quality it would share with most normal, naturally grown food items, no, more than that its even used as a liver protective medicine. So the answer would be yes, eating it may be a good idea - it *may* help, and if not, at least it won't do any harm, like your average junk food diet rich in fat and chemicals and poor in vitamins and other naturally occurring nutrients. If one doesn't like the taste of healthy food, there are preparations to might make the intake easier. Google "artichoke" & "liver" and all will be revealed. 0
