Not likely, the ovum matures in the ovary/follicle and travels down the fallopian tube, while the sperm travels from the uterus into the fallopian tube, the fertilized ovum travels back to the uterus via the same route.
Most of the time fertilization happens in the enclosed space of the fallopian tube or the follicle the ova matured in, before traveling to the uterus. In the case of surgical removal or scarred tubes from infection or ectopic pregnancy, the path between the ovary and the uterus has been lost. The mature ova would be lost in the abdominal cavity and be reabsorbed into the body.
If by chance the ripe ovum some how found it's way to the uterus and a sperm cell some how found the ovum, theoretically conception could occur. But, there are so many opportunities for attempted conception to fail under the best of conditions, for a pregnancy to be achieved without fallopian tubes playing their role - would most likely be mathematically impossible to calculate. (AKA a miracle.) That said it does seem obstetrical miracles happen so while I don't believe you can say you have a .0001% chance of conceiving naturally - if it happened that would be one determined little embryo.
Depending on your age, your best chance to achieve pregnancy will be for a fertility specialist to stimulate your ovaries, using micro surgery - remove the mature ovum and add sperm and the egg - for in-vitro fertilization - then place the fertilized ova (blastocyst) back into your body. Or in the case of "advanced maternal maturity" (over age 30 in some doctors opinion) - use donor eggs from a woman in her 20's - using in-vitro fertilization - place the fertilized egg into your womb.
If your HSG showed that your Fallopian tubes are blocked then it would be impossible to get pregnant.
Ovaries produce eggs. If only your fallopian tubes were removed, then there is no reason you cannot produce eggs. However, for the eggs to reach a location to be fertilized, they need the fallopian tubes for transport. If you are asking related to fertility issues, please contact your doctor, NOW! You appear to have a disease. Shamefully my nan received this - 6 feet under.
I am 28s old & when i was 22 years old I had my tubes tied this way, 2 years later I ened up pregnant. it is now 6 years almost 7 years later & I am pregnant again. The first pregnancy I had was a tubal, however for 3 months I was told i was fine & would be able to carry the baby. Then it ened up rupering in my tubes!!
yes this would be possible but unlikely.A tubal pregnancy is found in the fallopian tubes and is where a sperm has impregnated the egg there. So providing you still have your ovaries and fallopian tubes it is technically possible but how the sperm gets to the fallopian tube without a womb and with the top of the cervix/vagina closed by stitches you wouldhave to ask your doctor
Yes!That's the way most people do get pregnant when the tubes are tied. It's alot easier to do,you don't have to go through the surgery to have the tubes untied and is alot more achievable than the old way.
One of the major causes of infertility is fallopian tube obstruction. The fallopian tubes are the uterine tubes where fertilization occurs. When they are blocked, the sperm and the egg cannot meet, thus, the egg cannot be fertilized. In fact, blocking the fallopian tubes is sometimes used as a contraceptive method. However, this is a permanent procedure and method of birth control, and is usually chosen by women who already have children. One of the most common causes of blocked fallopian tubes is an infection. Sometimes, the STD Chlamydia trachomatis can cause distal tube obstruction. Other possible causes are endometritis, appendicitis or peritonitis. Fallopian tube obstruction is also associated with HIV infection. When it comes to treating blocked fallopian tubes, the traditional solution is tubal surgery. However, surgery is invasive and has several possible side-effects, one of the most common one being the risk of developing ectopic pregnancies. i took a type of tcm called fu yan pill for 4 courses, after a period of time, i feel my symptoms were decreased, and i kept eating the tcm, after finishing all my courses, i was cured, now my baby is already 3 years old, hope the tcm can help you too. A less invasive and more affordable solution in cases of fallopian tube obstruction is in vitro fertilization, or IVF. Nowadays, most women who suffer from blocked fallopian tubes choose IVF instead of surgery. IVF is safe and effective, and offers women with infertility problems a very easy solution to conceive. However, in case the obstruction of the fallopian tubes is associated with hydrosalpinx formation (fluid filling a blocked fallopian tube), the success rate of IVF is smaller, so doctors recommend treating hydrosalpinx before having IVF.

I had my tubes cut and burned in 1993, when it was still a fairly new procedure. I had just given birth to twins (child #3&4 for me). I've had no complications, no regrets and no pregnancies. My procedure was also performed during my c-section. Not sure if this makes a difference
I am 44 years old and had my tubes cut, burned and tied, My youngest son is 17yrs old and 2 months ago I had a bladder infection and they gave me a strong dose of amoxicillin to clear it up. I got my period last month, but since that my breast are sore, I am very emotional- will cry a the drop of a dime and I have back cramps nausea like you would not believe I did take a prego test but that was two weeks before my period is due. Could I be pregnant? Or let it go because the test said no

Jamestown is old fashion but people help to improve it so it my be visited
As far as I am aware, my doctor told me that you have to be at least 21 years old to get your tubes tied.
