Really, this question is one you should have initially inquired about through you primary care physician (prescribing medical provider) or local pharmacy (Pharmacists are generally up to date on contraindicators and drug reactivity.) If your physician was not aware (ie..not the prescriber of the prescription drugs in question) of all the medications you are currently taking, you COULD BE at risk for experiencing some type of drug mal reaction. It is always wise when going in to see your PCP (or any medical care provider, especially one who has not previously seen you for any condition) that you take any prescription medications (at least write down what you do take) to your appointment and also to advise them of any over-the-counter medications that you may be taking regulary (IE..antacids, pain or anti-inflammatory - as they too may also counter-react or cause some type of adverse reaction.) It would also be wise to ascertain that your medical provider is competent by checking with the APA as to the validity of his or her practice credentials. It is very nice to think that we are safe with whatever these professionals may advise in regards to our health, but it is also important to remember that it is up to us (you and I) in the long run to stay healthy and take care of our bodies to the best of our abilities, because we only get one in this lifetime. I have been under the care of one psychiatrist for ten years as well as my family doctor. I asked both of them to keep the other informed of my treatments and medications. I believe this is the only responsible thing to do. Please note that Adderall is an amphetimine and has the potential for addiction and abuse. Until recently, I was on fairly high doses of Adderall and Klonopin (which is an anti-anxiety med). In combination with my other meds for depression, the Adderall and Klonopin helped me tremendously. The Klonopin eased my anxiety but made me very sleepy. The Adderall not only helped my ADD, but it made me more social, complementing the anti-anxiety med, but it also counteracted the sleepiness that was a side effect of the Klonopin. Bonus. Though I'm not certain how similar Vistiril and Klonopin are, I know they are both used to treat anxiety. Klonopin (generic name clonazepam)is essentially a tranquilizer, the way I understand it and the way it feels to me. Adderall is an amphetimine. This seems counterintuitive, but it worked for me. If the same doctor prescribed both the Adderall and the Vistiril, then you shouldn't worry too much. But to ease your mind, ask your doctor about it. And if that doesn't put your mind at ease, don't hesitate to ask another doctor. A good doctor should be happy to answer your questions about any concerns you have about your treatment. He should not act offended that you question him, nor should he brush off your concerns because he has a degree hanging on his wall and you are a mere layperson. If you feel that your doctor doesn't take your concerns seriously, that he talks down to you, or acts like answering your questions is an imposition, you really need to look for a new doctor. It is important to have a good relationship with your mental health care provider. You should be able to work together...sort of like a team rather than a general barking out orders that are to followed without question.

What does vistiril show up as on drug screen?

Vistaril is a brand-name for the compound hydroxyzine. It is an antihistamine, and though it may cause sedation (similar to Benadryl, another antihistamine) it is not considered to be a "psychoactive" drug nor is it done on a drug triage screen.

How high will you get from hydroxyzine hcl 25?

You most likely will not get a "high" feeling from 25 MG of Vistiril (Hydroxyzine HCL) If you don't know much about It I will skip most of the warnings and things you're probably not wanting to hear. 25MG will not get you "high" however, It IS dangerous to "seek" this "high" feeling from Vistiril. 50mg May give you this feeling, but do not exceed the recommended dose on your pill bottle or doctors Instructions. They do that for a reason, body weight, tollerance and other things factor In what they typically will give you. If you are going to abuse this medicine, Please do NOT go over 50MG more than every 6 hours. You may end up In the hospital, fast. I am not a health care provider but I have been using this medicine for years.

Is it dangerous to take Klonopin and Seroquel together?

Yes, you should be fine. However, please consider that Klonapin is highly addictive and habit forming. Are you taking these medications for a psychiatric disorder? Be careful, again. Not only with the Klonapin, but Seroquel and Lamictal will knock you out, and numb you out. No way to live life. These medications are meant to be taken for a short period of time, unless you are severely schizophrenic. If you do take them for a long period of time you may develop Tardive Dyskenesia. And it's chronic. Good luck...
