First thing you need to do is stop the car and call 911, if there is a cross walk near you check the sign to see if it had the okay for the person to walk across the street or not. check on the person you just hit to make sure they are okay. Get all your paper work ready for the police. Stay clam as much as you can. Tell the 911 operator and the officers on the scene what all happened. which side of the car the person was on when you hit them, if you saw them and how fast you are going. Then after that call your insurance company and report it. Next just keep calling to check up on the case and start asking Attorney's what to do next, just in case you get suited.
