If you live in Texas and have two cars financed by the same dealership and you haven't kept up with payments on one of them can they take the one that is current on payments?

Read the fine print. Often default on one loan can be cause to call in all loans. If the loan was called, (meaning that you either pay it all off right now or forfeit the car) and you didn't pay off the loan, then they can do exactly what you described.

Two things to consider here: First, the cosigner is an equal owner of the vehicle regardless of whether or not any payment has been made by him. This is a matter of contract law. Second, and typically in cases where payments are not current, the cosigner/co-owner can take possession of the vehicle to protect his credit if his intention is to surrender the unit or to make payments current.

Also online there are many used, remanufactured, or OEM compliant after market parts available for most foreign and domestic cars. If you cannot find them try your local Nissan Dealership's Parts Department. You can save money buying used, aftermarket or "re-manned" as the new parts from dealership tend to be expensive.
