I have made a number of quilts from clothes ( a looong time ago, women never threw anything out, so worn out clothes were recycled into cleaning rags, or sewn into quilts. ) Just remember, when dealing with clothing, you are going to run into problems with one fabric having more stretch than another. If you are a beginner, I would suggest using only fabrics that are similar.
