You can obtain a dual registration from CKC for your AKC registered Dog. AKC does not recognize CKC (Continental Kennel Club). Therefore your litter would need to be CKC registered. You can print out your applications at www.ckcusa.com
I think the AKC has a new "pedigree research department" that handles these types of situations. UKC does not register dogs unless they already have AKC papers in place, or another acceptable registry, so if the dog is UKC than they dog's parentage is on record so maybe you can register the dogs, just much check with AKC, their new department should handle this one!
It all depends on the mother and father's parents. If the parents are average sized, there's a good chance that the puppy will be the same, and if they are little so will the puppy be.
spanoodle ?
You can change a puppy's name regardless of where you get him. However, if he is a purebred puppy his registered name cannot be changed once he is registered and only the puppy's breeder can do that.Very few dogs are addressed by their registered names which are long. They usually have every day names that might be related to their registered name or might not.now you keep saying the name that you want the puppy to have eventually the puppy will learn the name and will answer to it.
I think it's coat will become lighter. It's obvious when you think about genetics. The mother is white, and the father is tan, which equals when he is older that he will be tan.
If it is registered in your name and she wont give it back call or threaten her with the police because its your puppy!
no its imbread
The sire and the dam has to be registered both.
Take it to a Registered Veterinarian. Take no chances.
If your puppy was from a good breeder they should have some information, but if they dont have any registration for the father you can always go your council and ask them what things should be done, if that does not work THEN BAD LUCK alright?? maybe next time you should know what sort of breeder you are working with??!! good idea huh?
You should wait for 6 weeks before you take the puppy from its mother. The puppy should be eating solid food and drinking water. Make sure that the puppy is weaned before separation.
