yes, if it turns into a different colour than it is a chemical reaction.
hope that helps
If you put a banana in a warm cupboard for a week, the likelyhood of it turning black is very high. This is a chemical change, as it is caused by the internal decomposition (breaking down) of the sugars contained by the fruit. Please note for future that a physical change is in nearly always a change in state, including disolvsion in a solvent.
New substances are formed, when a chemical reaction has occurred.. for example a banana turning black.
yes it is a chemical reaction because the change involved heat and all chemical reactions involve heat and a difference in the appearence of the substance which has recieved heat is noticed
This is a photochemical reaction of decomposition: silver (black) is released.
The answer is actually microorganisms. In school we did a topic about it so it will be chemicals. Aleema hope it helpedxx
Yes, it is a chemical reaction, because the colour of the banana has changed, which shows that a chemical reaction has taken place. Also, if the banana has gone black and turned bad, you can't change it back to it's original form, which proves that it is a chemical reaction and not a physical reaction. Remember - A chemical reaction has definitely taken place if : It's colour has changed A gas is given off There are energy changes Or, it can't be changed back to what it used to be! :) Hope this helps!!
No, some people say that but it is not true!
It's a chemical reaction, as a banana is a fruit it leaves some micro particles into the air for growing faster. When it is on a tree this particles get mixed with air & couldn't help it so much for growing, but when it is in a packed cupboard there is not much space for the particles to roam, as the particles are nearer to banana, it starts to act upon banana & the starts growing faster & the banana gets ready, but after being ready also it stills continue to absorb micro particles & thus starts becoming black.

The banana will go black and be inedible

yes because of the chemical reaction when it hits human skin
A. You have eaten WAAAAY to much chocolate or black foods. B. There is a chemical reaction causing stomach fluids to become black. C. See a doctor...IMMEDIATELY!!!!
