Yes, but the next time you sync your iPod with iTunes they will be erased from your iPod.
When the songs were erased from your Ipod, you can never get it back, maybe you have plugged in your iPod to other PC/laptop that has itunes. You should connect your iPod only to the PC where you have installed your own itunes.
you have to transfer all your songs to itunes before you send it to repair or restore it.
Try unticking all the songs on Itunes. And add tick ONLY the songs you want to sync into your ipod. Itunes will only Sync the ticked songs. The rest of the songs on your ipod wont be erased.
Yes. If you press the Restore button on Itunes while your ipod is plugged in everything will be erased from your Ipod and it will be returned to the original factory settings.
No it does not. well at least that is what happend to me
Plug in the iPod into your computer and open up iTunes. Then, when iTunes recognizes your iPod (assuming you have already have registered it with iTunes and such), click on your iPod tab in the navigation bar to the left of your screen in iTunes. After that, just click the restore button at the bottom, and follow what iTunes tells you to do from there to restore your iPod.
No.

You cannot upload additional songs onto another Apple iPod. Only the entire iTunes library on the computer wil be transferred. Anything already on the iPod will be erased.
I'm not a expert at this but i had had to restore mine a couple of days ago. You need to make sure you have the NEWEST version of itunes then plug your iPod in and click on the little iPod at the side of your itunes and goto settings and click restor and it wil delete all your songs off your iPod but still be on your itunes so you jus sync them back on
Make sure your iPod is plugged in. When iTunes recognizes the iPod, go to the iPod menu. There should be a 'restore' button there.
