was it a pregnancy test at the hospital or at home if at home get the ultra sound if at the hospital don't bother
Around 2.5 weeks ago.
Be patient.
Hello, Blood can be difficult to see on a ultrasound. Picture a ultrasound picture, the images are grey and hazy. Also if you are 4 weeks pregnant the pregnancy would not be visible on a ultrasound scan until you were 6 weeks pregnant. The only person who can accurately and thoroughly read a ultrasound is a Radiographer or a Obstetrician Doctor. I would make a appointment with your Doctor, have a pregnancy blood test performed and book a ultrasound scan for 2-3 weeks time. You need a quantitative beta HCG blood test to measure the level of HCG in your blood which will also tell you if your pregnancy is viable. Good luck.
Only your doctor can really answer that question. However, it is not unusual for a home pregnancy test to be incorrect after a miscarriage. Home pregnancy tests look for pregnancy-related hormones in your urine...hormones that may still be present for weeks after a miscarriage. To determine the status of your pregnancy and the health of your child, your doctor should perform an ultrasound.
I had that. I also have a progesterone deficiency, but I started progesterone supplements and am now 13 weeks pregnant and they didn't see any evidence of bleeding on my last ultrasound last week. The doctor who told me about the bleed at six weeks, when I said "What does that mean?" said "sometimes we see that in early pregnancy. We like to not see it, but sometimes we do." How's that for a non-answer?!?
May
On rare occasions you can encounter a false positive due to improper testing, expired pregnancy tests, rare medical conditions such as certain types of cancer, evaporation lines, a recent pregnancy or a chemical pregnancy. But if it did say pregnant, I would call your OB/GYN and tell them that you took a pregnancy test and it said positive and you need to make an appointment. They will then confirm your pregnancy with a blood test and possibly and ultrasound depending upon how far along you may be. You will need to be prepared to answer questions about when your last period was and related questions.
Yes!
It could possibly be a hysterical pregnancy, if this is true than no you are not pregnant.
It certainly sounds like it. See your family physician or your OBGYN to get a professional HCG Beta urine test run and an ultrasound. That would give you a definitive answer and you could then get moving on your prenatal care.
Another word for Pregnancy is Gestation.
