If a restaurant is up for sale and has applied for a liquor license under its current cc is it possible to remain with same application under the new owners?
A liquor license is a separate property. If you buuy a restaurant with a liquor license, it is not necessarily transferrable. You must be approved by your states liquor control board. They will do a background search criminally and financially. Also in most states, although it is separate property, it is approved for the location that it was applied for....its not transferrable to a new address.
