If you went into the ultrasound and they said you were 7 weeks and 5 days pregnant according to babies growth you went to the midwife and she said you were 7 weeks gestation what does that mean?

Gestation is the same as saying pregnant. So when your midwife says that you are at 7 weeks gestation, she is saying you are 7 weeks pregnant. It is most accurate to go from the first day of your last period to figure out how far along you are because babies grow at different paces in the womb and if your baby is growing a little faster at first, the ultrasound may show it as being further along than it really is. Your midwife is probably getting your due date using the last period method, so I would go with her and say that you are 7 weeks pregnant.
