Nice question...but you've delayed too long to be able to get any rebate anyway, so why bother anyone now, who cares?
Yes!! if you filed your taxes and will be receiving a refund via your checking account you will receive your stimulus check early...I did.
First, the return needs to have been processed (not just received) by April 15. If you were expecting direct deposit and you had fees deducted from the refund or received a refund loan, you'll get a check instead.
If you are talking about this years stimulus check, no. This is a gift from the government to help stimulate the economy.
Do you mean the stimulus payment? If so, then yes.
No because disability income is considered unearned income so therefore there is no amount to base a refund of a return... I have done taxes for 7 years and I am certified through the IRS as a professional tax preparer. Any disability monies that are received are not taxable so a return should not have to be filed unless of certain conditions that are often rare.
That depends. First, you have to be qualified. Second, your return has to have been processed by April 15. If both are true, the IRS can't do anything until it's been four weeks since the check was mailed. If you were expecting a direct deposit, it will be converted to a check if you had a refund loan or had fees deducted from the refund.
No
quick answer. Yes. If you prepare your taxes online and are receiving a refund, calculate your refund with the stimulus amount you received and with out. You will notice a big difference. Do not send it in with false information or it will be rejected! Try it both ways and see for yourself.

If your income tax refund was direct deposited, your stimulus check will also be direct deposited.
No, the rebate check is an advance payment of a 2008 tax credit. The money is actually a portion of the refund or payment applied to the taxes you will file in 2009. Therefore as it is a refund check it is not taxable income.

You will need to look at your tax return for 2009. It would have been shown on your return as received or claimed as part of a refund. You can also look back on your bank statement as many people were automatically sent the payment if they were recipients of Social Security or VA benefits. The payment would have been sent to the bank account where your benefit check is sent to every month. If you received it automatically, it would have came in the fall of 2009 or first few months of 2010.
