this happened to me when i was leaving work a few weeks ago. apparently this has to do with the alero's security feature. in the owners manual, it says that if you turn your key to the ACC position (not all the way on so it starts, but far enough so that the radio works, fans blow, etc.) and leave it in this position for 10 minutes, then try to start your car and it will work. i thought i had a dead battery the day this happened to me, but i noticed that my radio was still coming on and fans were still blowing. i came back to my office and googled the problem and was told to look at my owners manual. it's a pain but it definitely works!
on the 1995 aurora to change out the starter the top end has to be pulled the starter is internal it is located on the drivers side of the engine
1997 olds achieva remove starter and wire plug got pulled out and we cant find where it goes? help?
If your kick starter is not getting any compression, you probably pulled the spark plug.
A starter role in a sport is when you start out in the game in the beginning and then normally you get pulled out by the coach and are on the bench until you get back in.
The actual problem is the starter continues to turn after key is turned off and pulled out of ignition.
Begin with disconnecting the negative battery terminal. Remove the two bolts that hold the starter in place and also unfasten and remove the starter motor cable. The starter is easily pulled out.
It doesnt point anywhere it is constantly rotating. But it is pulled by the earth.
If the starter does not turn then it could either be bad or not getting power. If a volt meter can not be used to determine that voltage is present, then the starter can be pulled and taken to be tested.
The fuel pump is located in the gas tank of the car. The tank needs to be pulled.
Then you probably didn't need stitches.
No!it was either the trans. Or motor.one of them had to be pulled.
Try a new starter or ignition.
