Moving away from all your best friends, is a really hard thing to do. Just tell your friend that he/she has to think positive and that they have a whole new life ahead of them. Tell your friend how amazing he/she is, and that you guys will visit each other once in awile. Also, tell your friend how amazing it will be to live in a new neighbourhood, with new people and new sights. Just make your friend relaize that friends can live a thousand miles away from each other, but true friends always stand still in your heart forever.

This just happened to me and I find it best if you called him/her often, send letters, send e-mails to each other, and make sure to come visit them! You can also try to join a social networking site like Facebook or YouTube and chat. There are plenty of opitions out there so don't be afraid to look!
