Everyone is having the same problem lately,even me,I think it's water is your gas,I have to get my gas at mobil never irving or else I press the gas and get no power as well as loud noises like backfire putt putts up the road...I think the places are scamming us by making even more money by watering down the gas they charge us so much for already.
If the fuel system is still holding pressure the car will start and run until the fuel runs out, The relay turns on the fuel pump.
your issue could probabally be a fuel pump. when u run a car out of fuel it runs the fuel pump dry and the only thing lubricating a "in the tank fuel pump" is FUEL
Well, If you mean the fuel pump in the fuel tank, it is a 12 volt pump. The pump runs with the 12 volt system of the car.
You most likely have a sticking fuel pump relay a new one should take care of the problem
