The tax deduction is based on the amount of time the child is with the parent and not support or custody order. If he has the chilf 51% of the time, than yes.

what you are asking is tax fraud. you are not the dependant of your boyfriend. also that has nothing to do with your actual residence.

If boyfriend lives with you don't have a job or files taxes can the girlfriend claim him on he taxes?

The only person that can be claimed on a tax return as a dependent is a blood realative , ie. children, parents, or by marriage; ie. in laws, that lives with you for at least 6 months out of the tax year. So to answer your question, you may not claim your boyfriend on your tax return.

Children under age 24 who are full-time students are exempt from what dependency tests?

Children under age 24 who are full-time students are exempt from the support test when determining if they can be claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax return. This means they can earn money and still be claimed as a dependent as long as they provide less than half of their own financial support.

If I pay child support and the mother of my children does not work can her boyfriend claim them without my consent?

Generally, if their mother is not claiming the children on her federal tax return then you have the right to claim them on yours. The amount of support you pay may be an issue if your support is minimal and the boyfriend is paying for more than half of their financial support. You may need to file your own taxes as soon as possible to have your tax return on record first. There are variables in this situation and you should speak with a tax professional.See additional information at the link.https://www.sapling.com/7937838/can-claim-child-his-taxes

You claimed zero but still owe taxes?

You mean you claimed 0 on your W-4 and/ or your return? The W-4 is the one that determines withholding. If you claimed say 3 on it and 0 on the return, then that is bound to happen. If you claimed 0 on both, and presuming you have no other income (which could cause additional payment in any case)...then recalc your return, something isn't right.

Can medical bills from an accident be claimed on taxes if there was a settlement?

Not if the settlement is medical expenses is more than the actual medical expense were. If the expense have already been deducted on your income tax return and you receive a settlement after that then you will have some recovery income that will have to be reported as income on your income tax return.

How can you determine if your wife could be claimed as a dependent on her parent's tax return?

If the wife's parents provided over half of your wife's support, and she lived with them for the majority of the taxable year, and she is under age 18, or if over 18 a full time student at an accredited college, they might be able to claim her on their return. In most cases, the wife depends upon her husband for support, and doesn't need support from parents.
