It doesn't always get hard until a few weeks later when the baby's a bit bigger
The lower abdomen don't get hard until you are several months into the pregnancy. Right now the embryo is very tiny. First the belly will build up more fat on the stomach for protection. Usually you don't start to show until second trimester.
If its on the lower abdomen could be that you are ovulating, sometimes the muscles contract during this period. If its the stomach could be that either you have lots of acidity in your stomach that causes digestion to be alittle hard/rough for food to move about in your intestines causing the pull.
The lower esophageal sphincter guards the entrance of the stomach from the esophagus.
The lower stomach pain might indicate that you are going to be due your period. The ''stomach going hard'' however may not be a sign of pregnancy - It does also depends on how long ago you had sexual intercourse and you may feel your stomach has grown. It begins to show after A month or Two.

its pretty hard not to know you have blood in your knickers and usually pain in stomach. if you have a normal menstrual cycle, it usually flows about every 2 weeks and then slows down to about every 28-30 days i had my period when i was 10 and i was in shock. if you have any concerns about your period you should see your local health unit..xx take care rockchick2108xx
