There is a unspoken rule about dating your girlfriend ex-boyfriend Just Don't Do It. Good friends never share men. Your friendship is more important than dating her ex. guys come and go friends last forever if you don't date their ex-boyfriend. The world has a lot of men in it go find one that your girlfriend has not dated:) Good Luck!
While the last statement is not untrue one mistake is to say you can't date an ex. You just have to make sure she is OK with it first. If she is not then don't do it.

A boy friend should be very protective of his girlfriend. Don't smother though, girls seem to not like that;) My friend that's a girl, I say that because I cannot date just yet, sometimes gets slapped on the but by some pervert and I am protective of her... It makes me SO angry when he does it! I don't smother her. But when I am around her I feel protective. So guys should be protective but not over protective. Because that may give the girl a vibe that your crazy.
