I know what you mean! I also have parents like that! But try telling your parents that these are your years as a youngster and you feel you should experience different things now. Ask them to trust you and at least give you one chance to prove that you are mature and responsible. Tell them that you will call and check in. Beg them to at least give you one chance to prove yourself. Hope this helps!

Um...I'd say being honest with your parents or whatever helps...and trust your kids so they'll WANT to please them. And have rules but don't be SUPER strict...it only causes rebellion and hateful feelings.
