No! This is not verbal abuse at all, and there is more to this story than you have been able to tell us. It sounds like you want everything your way, or at the very least don't have the decorum to ask her to do something in a civil way, but ordering her. Women are not put on this earth for their mates to boss them around. Women are intelligent, can be independent and most of us, if giving respect to our mate or anyone else certainly expect it back. Instead of asking for an apology it would be a good idea to start communicating to see where your relationship has weakened and for each of you to start acting like adults instead of brats!
There are no laws in any states that handle this type of situation. It is ultimately up to the parents to handle this dispute between themselves.
Legally, parents have a responsibility to provide for their minor children. However, at age 18, you are considered an adult and your parents can ask you to leave their home if you are disrespectful. It would be best to try to resolve any conflicts and communicate with your parents effectively to avoid being asked to leave.

Various states handle the development of barrier islands by not polluting it
Each state has its own approach to protecting or developing barrier islands. Some states implement strict regulations to preserve the natural environment, while others may allow for more development to support tourism or economic growth. Factors such as erosion, sea level rise, and coastal hazards also play a role in shaping how states manage their barrier islands.
not pullting
President Clinton felt guilty for what the United States government did to the Hawaiian Monarchy so he issued an Apology Resolution 100 years later to apologize for what the US had done. Too little too late but we appreciate his efforts.
Because they do not have the time to handle them, honestly they really don't want to be involved with them. :)
States typically regulate development on barrier islands through building codes, zoning laws, and permits. Some states may have more stringent regulations to protect the natural environment and mitigate erosion and flooding risks, while others may have more relaxed regulations to promote economic development and tourism. The management of barrier islands can vary depending on state priorities and environmental concerns.
How did the United States handle the problem of the “Yellow Peril”?
This will depend on where you live and what you believe . Some countries have communist states and others have capitalist states.
