I'm in the US trying to shop on a Philippines online store for my girlfriend in the Philippines, I can't use my US credit card because of the Philippine store won't let me enter a US billing address. Is there a way around this?
I have a girlfriend (soon to be wife) that lives in the Philippines. Sending her money through Western Union works most the time. But I'm finding myself in situations more often where it would be easier for me to order the product from a Philippine store (like shopee, Lazada, and others) and have it shipped to her. And most of the Philippines online stores except foreign credit cards. But here's my problem. Most of the Philippine online stores will not allow you to enter an US billing address. And unless my billing address matches the address on my card, it won't be accepted. Is there any way around this? I even thought about using gift cards. The problem with gift cards are most gift cards around here that isn't tied to an address you cannot use outside of the US. And any Travelers card or international gift cards or tied to an address. And unless you have a Philippine billing address to tie the card to it won't work. I was thinking about using my girlfriend's address for the Travelers card or International gift card. But then the card will be sent to her and not to hear where I need it. Is there any way around this billing address nightmare
