no you cant, you need your parents permission so they will not let you into the country without a letter. They will fine the airline around £5,000 and in most cases the airline will fine you for not taking responsibility and checking the Immigration laws on the country. This is so important.
yes, im not positive if you are considered a unaccompanied minor or not, but im 16 and have been flying alone since i was 10. being a unaccompanied is actually really fun because in the planes that make you pay for movies or food you get it free and you can get any seat you want ie: window, isle, front of the plane.
Yes Im 16 and I travel from NYC to L.A. every summer alone. Im treated like anyother passenger you just need to know what you doing especially if its your first time fliying. Oh and as far as hotel stays I have never had a problem usually over spring brake a friend and I fly to Amsterdam and stay there for a week. I have never tried renting a car though Im not sure about the US but it would deff be a no in Europe where the driving age is 18.

Age alone will not prevent you from travelling to Brazil. There may be other things you have to take into consideration

Im pretty sure you have to be 16. Im trying to find out myself because im turning 16 in June and have never been out of Canada because of my parents separation. But im pretty sure its 16, so your fine.
