you can use either since there is a visa waiver program with UK, the problem is that if you enter with the british passport you will be treated as an alien, and you will have to leave the country as a british citizen even if you hold an American citizenship, i know that it doesnt make much sense, but that's how things are, in case of doubt check with the American embassy
ANSWER:
If you are an American Citizen you are required to enter and leave the US on your American Passport, regardless of other citizenships or passports you may hold.
You can get the passport but after 10 years of living in SA.
All you need is your passport, unless you are going on a cruise then moving to the US. you need a passport issued to you from your own country, and a visitors visa to gain entry to the usa,you then need to check what other visas you will need for countries you will visit on your cruise.
Yes, you are moving between EU countries and so you need to able to prove your an EU citizen. Some carriers do however allow photo-card driving licenses as proof of ID. I would make sure you have a passport however, you don't want to ruin your trip. If you need a passport quick the passport office will produce you one in a day, you need to book an appointment and this service is at a premium.
British citizens may choose to move across the Atlantic to Canada. Prior to leaving Britain, they need to apply for a visa. The visa will be their way into the country until they become a permanent citizen. They will then need to find companies to move their belongings as well as new laws and culture/
You need some form of national photo ID on you at all times to enter or leave a country. This is usually a passport. In some cases a national identy card or passport card is accepted. Whether you need to carry this with you at all times depends on the laws of the country. Some countries do require it, some don't. If in doubt, it is better to carry your passport. Please be sure to carry your ID in a secure way, since passports are often stolen from tourists.
Olivia is British by birth, but became an American citizen. More recently she became an Australian citizen, which is something she wanted to do for a long time having grown up in Australia after moving from her native England (born in Cambridge) at the age of 5.
A British citizen - is someone born in the UK - in just the same way as a Kosovan is someone born in Kosovo. If you were born outside the UK, and migrated here - you are a 'naturalized citizen'. You are always a native of the country you were born in - moving to any other country makes you an immigrant. Having a NI number simply means you came here legally - instead of in the back of a lorry !
you should get a full education in English and pass al immigration tests and to be an official citizen with a passport you have to at least live there for five years and have a good English education moving there isnt easy
The British were moving to seize weapons and ammunition that belonged to the colonists as part of the traditional right to keep and bear arms as free British subjects. The colonists took a stand to defend their rights.
I would make sure I had a US passport,
Going abroad without your passport
If you are a non-citizen moving to Australia, you must go through an application process to become a citizen. Sometimes, the application is rejected.
