Because they remember when they were a freshman getting picked on themselves. it's not because they're just "mean". it's because they've waited their whole high school lives to be at the "top" for the final time, so yes, it does get to their heads a little bit. they think it's cool that they know their way around and freshman are really easy targets since they are just starting out. some of them are a little more mature, and actually help the freshman out instead of make it worse.. those are the seniors i look up to. but when those freshman become seniors, it'll probably be worth it. I'm a freshman.
