If your question is "Why is interfaith dialogue between Christians and Muslims important?"
Unfortunately in this world there is a lot of hate, anger and misunderstanding which is often interpreted as a conflict between Islam and Christianity however it is more like a conflict between religious sensibilities and non-religious values.. anyhow.
Interfaith dialogue is HUGELY important especially at the moment because Christianity is Islam have so much in common! For example: both religions follow the 10 commandments, both recognise Jesus Christ as an important prophet and both use stories and 'history' from the Jewish Torah (such as Noah, Moses, Adam and eve etc.)
recognising these similarities is essential for cultural understanding and removing a lot of hate and suffering from the world.
