Some people (me included) improve self-confidence through purchasing new clothes that make them feel attractive, while others engage in activities that make them seem daring or brave. It depends greatly on the individual.

Gaining self confidence is a long process that doesn't take place immediately. Focus on those things that make you insecure and try to improve upon them every day.
