Loki, the trickster god. He was awesome. He hopped on both sides of the battle between the Gods and the Giants, sired three monsters, Fenir, the World Snake, and a gray lady whose powers escape me at the moment. He often got into trouble, but would get himself out of it by tricking others instead.

How was Thor born?

Thor was a god in Norse mythology. How you would view his origin depends on how you view mythology. If mythology and religion are a social construct, Thor was devised by Norse storytellers as a part of their elaborate worldview. If mythology is to be believed, Thor was born to Jord, a giantess, and Odin, the Aesir patron god.

Which weekday is not named for a viking god?

Saturday is still a remnant of the Roman God Saturn, and thus not named after a Norse God. Sunday is Sunna's day, the Goddess (female unlike most cultures which depict the Sun as a male entity) of the Sun. Monday is named after Máni, the Norse God (note that he's male) of the Moon, and brother to Sunna. Tuesday is Tyr's Day, the God of War. Wednesday is Oden's (Or Wodan's, which is closer to how you actually pronounce Oden) Day, the Chief God of Norse mythology. He is associated with a labyrinthine assortment of abstracts, including fury, wisdom, poetry, victory and The Hunt. Thursday is Thor's Day, the God of the Storm. Friday is Freya's Day, the Godess of Fertility and Life.

Who is thor from viking times?

The Vikings believed in a religion, we call it Norse Mythology, were they had many Gods and creatures and Worlds and all sorts of other stuff. Thor was the Norse God of thunder, he had a hammer called Mjolnir (he needed special Gauntlets and a belt to wield this weapon) and with it he was so powerful apparently he could make mountains and stuff into valleys. He was the most famous and well-known God and was a son of Odin.
