Ontario does not and will never have government "parties", because Ontario is not a counrty.
Aside from the current ruling party, Canada also has oppositional parties and leaders as well. Provincial Canadian oppositional parties include the New Democratic Party (NDP) headed by Tom Mulcair. The Liberal Party of Canada is headed by Bob Ray, and the Bloc Quebecois is headed by Daniel Paille.
In most states there is no legal recourse when you buy a used vehicle from a private party. This is true in California, for instance. Private parties are not required to offer any kind of warranty on used vehicles.

However, he is in a minority position so he needs to negotiate with the other two parties (NDP and Conservative) to get legislation passed.

The truth is that usually neither party is happy with the outcome. My feeling is that that is as close as the judge can come to solving the issue. Try to work with what you have as positively as you can.
