she is a prophet who talks to odysseus about his wife and how she is doing in ithaca and she tells odysseus that other men are trying to get with his wife if he doesnt hurry and return home .
Zeus was the Greek king of gods. The Odyssey includes everything in the Iliad and of Odysseus's journey home. So pretty much imagine all of one story and then all of the next story. Zeus didn't have any major roles with helping or hurting Odysseus in the Odyssey so I wouldn't say he really have any events. The only thing I can remember Zeus doing was making Calypso release Odysseus from her island so he could come home.
In Homer's Odyssey, Odysseus is trying to get home to Ithaca after the 10 year Trojan war.He has one hell of a journey back home. It takes him another 10 years! It's not just bad weather that delays him and his men on their ship; there are monsters, witches, battles, etc...And the Odyssey is all about how Odysseus manages to get away from these dangerous situations.Oh, and while he's doing all this, the God Poseidon is trying to get him killed.Poor guy.Isn't it fantastic that one of the first ever books written is an adventure book?
Penelope is the most heroic, because she save Odysseus' kingdom. She set up gave him more time by doing and undoing the loom everynight. To add on she gave a challenge to the suitors on an impossible task about shooting an arrow with Odysseus' bow.
When Hermes arrived on Cyclopes Odysseus was crying of homesickness.

He sat weeping on the beach. (Odyssey, book 5, line 82. Was that your home assignment?)
Antinous, not Antonio, is the one shot by Odysseus in "The Odyssey" for plotting against him. Antinous is the first suitors to be killed by Odysseus because he is the ringleader of the suitors and the most aggressive in his behavior towards Penelope and Telemachus. His actions make him the primary target when Odysseus takes his revenge.

Odysseus should not have upset Poseidon because gods were typically appeased to avoid their wrath. By blinding Poseidon's son, the Cyclops Polyphemus, Odysseus provoked Poseidon's anger, leading to his long and perilous journey home in "The Odyssey." Poseidon's vengeance caused numerous challenges and delays for Odysseus, making his journey much more difficult.
