One reason why Bilbo is unhappy is because he doesn't like the look of the lonely mountain whereas the dwarves love mountains. The more likely reason is that Bilbo also has a cold. It is referanced in Bilbo's speech in "A Long Expected Party," LOTR FOTR, book one, chapter one.
The dwarfs are happy because they have rediscovered the treasure in the Lonely Mountain and are excited to reclaim their homeland. Bilbo, on the other hand, is unhappy because he feels guilty about keeping the Arkenstone from Thorin and the dwarfs and is conflicted about his loyalty to them.
