Bree discovers that the Volturi, especially in the case of Jane and Caius, wouldn't care and would actually like the idea of the Olympian Coven (The Cullens) getting destroyed.
Bree finds this out when Diego - her mate - and her see the volturi members: Jane, Demetri, Felix and Alec approach Victoria and discover her plan to kill Bella and The Cullens, they had the chance to stop the newborn army and decide to let Victoria try to kill the Cullens instead.
